There are local amenities in the district of Sketty, in which the cottage is located; a post office, supermarket, and a few local shops, cafes and restaurants are nearby. For more extensive shopping and entertainment options, visit Swansea town (2 miles) or its local attractions, including the Dylan Thomas Centre, Plantasia and the National Waterfront Museum. Heading immediately west, you can explore the stunning secluded beaches, gorgeous bays and quaint villages of the Gower Peninsula. Visit the iconic pier, castle and lighthouse, sample the famous local ice cream or tackle the ‘Mumbles Mile’, a real ale trail filled with traditional waterfront pubs. Nearby lie the well-known beaches of Caswell (6 miles), Langland Bay (6 miles) and Oxwich Bay (11 miles).

Move on into the open-plan kitchen/dining room with a breakfast bar, where you can talk while cooking up a storm, and a dining table and chairs with views out to the delightful garden. There is a useful storage room to kick off your shoes and boots and hang your coats up after a day out. Heading upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms: one king-size bedroom with an en-suite, one double and a twin. To complete the accommodation is the family bathroom.
A stable door opens onto a small patio area with garden furniture and there is a further large lawned front garden with garden furniture. The perfect spots for al fresco dining or to sip your morning coffee in the sunshine.
